Eliezer Rabadon is a prominent figure in the Philippines’ burgeoning blockchain and Web3 ecosystem, serving as the CEO of DvCode Technologies Inc., an IT solutions company driving innovation in blockchain integration and software development, as well as a member of the Blockchain Council of the Philippines.
With a passion for fostering collaboration and bridging traditional systems with decentralized technologies, Rabadon has positioned DvCode as a key player in the Philippine tech scene. His commitment to practical, sustainable solutions and strategic partnerships has made DvCode a standout in the rapidly evolving Web3 landscape.
That said, UseTheBitcoin got the opportunity to interview Eliezer “Mr. Ganap” Rabadon, the CEO of DvCode Technologies Inc., during the recent Philippine Blockchain Week 2025 in Manila.
UTB: Please introduce yourself and what you do.
Eliezer: My name is Eliezer Rabadon, the CEO of DvCode Technologies Inc. We provide IT solutions and develop software for clients and partners, specializing in smart contracts for blockchain integrations. We have Merkado.city for e-commerce and DvPass for membership platforms. These are white-label systems that we are currently offering.
UTB: Could you share more about DVCode Technologies Inc.?
Eliezer: DvCode Technologies Inc. is an IT solutions company based in the Philippines. Right now, we are really active in doing partnerships. Of course, here with Philippine Blockchain Week, we’ve been catering to their IT needs since 2022.
For the community, we co-founded a community called Web3 Bulacan in Region III, and we have been doing workshops and hackathons together with our partner blockchain networks and other brands that we are collaborating with.
UTB: How does DvCode Technologies differentiate itself from other blockchain development firms?
Eliezer: We are doing things in parallel in terms of B2B and B2C, and in terms of talking with stakeholders that are really pushing Web3 adoption in the Philippines. So, what sets DvCode Technologies apart from other tech companies is that we focus on collaboration rather than competition.
UTB: DvCode Technologies operates in the rapidly evolving Web3 space. What are the key challenges you see in bridging traditional finance (TradFi) with DeFi, and how is DvCode addressing these?
Eliezer: DvCode Technologies is really positioning itself as a bridge between two stakeholders, because you can only succeed in Web3 adoption if you are able to bridge traditional finance and decentralized finance.
So, we are actually doing this in DvCode by partnering with Electronic Money Issuer (EMI) and Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) license entities in the Philippines, so shoutout to TopJuan Technologies Corporation for making this partnership happen.
For example, in Merkado.city and DvPass, we are collaborating with TopJuan for the settlement of payments for cashing in and cashing out via QRPh in cards. For crypto integrations, DvCode is the one who is handling it.
UTB: Notably, the Philippines is emerging as a hub for blockchain innovation. As a blockchain developer, what approaches or technologies do you believe will be critical for addressing scalability issues in blockchain applications, and how is DvCode tackling these challenges in its projects?
Eliezer: Well, DvCode is focusing on the practicality of things. We are not here to build the next big thing in terms of rocketship or something like that. We are simply allowing ourselves to consider how Filipinos can really use this technology in the present day. So, we are really more on feasibility and sustainability of things, rather than the hype.
UTB: Where do you see DvCode Technologies in the next 3–5 years, especially as Web3 and blockchain technologies mature?
Eliezer: I have been here in the space since 2017, and DvCode has been building since 2022. We believe that our current connections and partners are now at a mature stage, where we can move to the next level, focusing on collaboration and potentially building a revenue-sharing model with them. So, yeah, we are really more into collaboration. What we can see in the future is utilizing the networks we have, so we can finally launch our crypto-related products in compliance with government regulations.
UTB: What advice would you give to young developers or entrepreneurs looking to enter the blockchain and Web3 space in the Philippines?
Eliezer: First and foremost, network and talk to a lot of people. Because if you only do things on your own, you can only do so much. But if you collaborate with other people and prioritize collaboration and cooperation with different partners that you have, you will be stronger in this space.
UTB: Is there anything you want to share that I have not asked, but is important to cover in this interview?
Eliezer: I also have my own Facebook page, it’s called GANAP With Eli, and I am creating content for next-gen developers, so if you can plug it, then all good. GANAP!
