UTB: What differentiates The Ascent from other Web3 communities in the crypto space?
Missy: The thing that differentiates us from the other Web3 communities out there is the fact that we are focused on providing new value through education. We host weekly trading livestreams and share some alpha opportunities related to airdrops.
When we look at other trading communities, many seem to focus solely on hype or sending out signals. But we’re different. We don’t just showcase our wins—we’re also open about our losses. That level of transparency is important to us because trading isn’t always about winning.
We want to build a community where people can genuinely relate to one another, where we grow together through both success and failure.
UTB: What specific activities, events, or initiatives does The Ascent organize to keep members engaged?
Missy: We do a lot to support and engage our community. Every week, during our live trading sessions, our experienced traders guide beginners through real-time strategies and insights. Beyond trading, we also host game nights and AMA sessions, where members can ask questions directly to our professional traders and airdrop hunters.
We actively encourage community engagement in our Discord server. Members can earn points through participation, which can later be redeemed for exclusive merch from The Ascent. It’s our way of giving back and adding real value to the community.
UTB: Looking ahead, where do you see The Ascent in the next five years, especially given the volatility of the crypto market?
Anaya: The Ascent aims to be Asia’s top trading and educational hub. So, during tough markets, strong communities thrive.
